I’m a Graphic Designer,
Digital Illustrator and Embroidery Artist
I was always the artsy kid that begged her friends to draw with her and who brought coloring books with her wherever she went. In my adulthood, I became a Nanny, then a Behavioral Therapist, and then a Preschool Teacher, but none of those jobs felt quite right. In 2018 I decided to take a hard left turn and go back to school to earn my Master’s in Graphic Design and Digital Media.
My favorite projects to work on are the personal ones. I love custom art pieces that previously only existed in the minds of my clients. One embroidery piece in particular comes to mind: She loved sunflowers, sharks and cats and NEEDED a hoop that incorporated all three. To this day that hoop is the silliest, most fun piece of art I’ve ever been a part of.
I just love creating things. I like waking up in the morning, having a cup of coffee (or two… or three, let’s be honest here) and making things. I am so grateful to have been able to earn a degree in Graphic Design because learning color theory, building such a familiarity with the Adobe Creative Suite, and being subjected to endless amounts of constructive criticism have made me a better artist as well as designer.
